Schulz & Bowstead are designers and fabricators of scenery and properties for television, trade shows and museums; scale models for architects and public exhibits; and custom commercial and residential fine furniture and cabinetry.

Established in 1997, the partnership of John Schulz and Delia Bowstead is a consolidation of specialized and complementary skills in woodcraft and the scenic arts and has built on a combined client base of architects and interior designers, television and entertainment industry scene shops, and museum exhibit designers.

As part of an extensive network of specialists in associated disciplines, Schulz & Bowstead is able to offer a wide range of services rendered to the highest quality standards at competitive rates. These services include design assistance; CAD presentation and working drawings; graphic design and production; fabrication in wood, metal, glass, Plexiglas, laminates, veneers; custom wood-turning and carving and a wide range of specialty woodcrafts; sprayed and hand-rubbed finishes; sculpting in urethane foam and other scenic media; custom mold-making and casting; scene painting and faux finishing; and design and installation of automations and lighting.

Schulz & Bowstead clients have included New York City designers Peter Marino Architects and Patino/Wolf Associates, Matthew Hanlon Restorations, NBC and The New-York Historical Society. Schulz & Bowstead museum model work has been featured in Dunham Studios exhibits at The Cincinnati History Museum, The Western Heritage Museum, The Altoona Railroader's Memorial Museum, and in corporate holiday exhibits at the Chicago Navy Pier, Citigroup Center, and the former World Trade Center.
